Choose letters to review.I have 16 kids so I usually get 4 or 5. I always do A,E,I,O,U together since they are vowels. Stand/sit the children in a big circle. Hand the cards to any of the children around the circle. Have the children pass the cards around them, have them sing "What letter is that? What letter is that?" over and over as they pass the cards around. Let the cards go around and When you say "what letter is that?" for the last time (I usually chant it 5 or 6 times with the kids) point to the children holding the letters and they say the name and sound of the letter. To take it to the next level have them name something that starts with that letter. Using 4 or 5 cards allows each child to review the letters over and over (since we go around 2 or 3 times) even if they are not holding that particular card. I usually do it at the end of review before we go to table time. It is so simple but the kids have a ball.
