Materials Required: book ' confessions of a Shopaholic' cd of film version
Concepts Taught: critical reading and viewing

first`; book outline.list of main characters( details of background), job in story, function in story, turning point in story.Students make a list based on the book and then a list based on the film.
looking at the list the differences will be enormous!
they now need to take elements of the film that were different but in a sense were faithful to MsKinsella's message/ story. What details in the film were ' cheap shots' and detrimental to her original story?
