Essential questions:

1. How I can keep my body health?
2. How does the family can protect its children health?
Tasks:
1. Write small paragraph about the health information and exercises, students can invite the sport teacher and ask her to come to the class and give several lectures about the benefit information (Click here (handout)). Students can practice some of benefits exercise in the school hall; students can use this web site which has very useful aerobics¡¦ exercises http://www.healthychoices.org/pdf/ch2-pg21.pdf Science ¡÷ (Bodily- kinesthetic+ Linguistic+ Intrapersonal).
Thinking process: considers new ideas and various perspectives to broaden insight and increase understanding


2. Use these websites in the Searching
(http://www.nutritionexplorations.com/) or (http://www.quakeroatmeal.com/wellness/Articles/FH_foodguidepyramid.cfm) and look out about the healthy food. The students have to divide the groups of food as the food guide pyramid. Students haven¡¦t copy the pictures of food guide pyramid or information, they have use their own words .also, and students can draw the nutrition pyramid with color by their hands. In this webpage the students will find out many useful information that they will need in their projects, for instance how many cups of water do you need per day?, and how much you should eat from each food groups?. Also, the students will have able to examine their nutrition in every meal by using column chart that shows all the food groups (Click here). Science ¡÷ (Intrapersonal +Visual- Spatial)

3. Create a story which is about healthy family whose care about their children physical condition. Students can create any characters and events as they want. To do this activity the students can work as teamwork. Arabic ¡÷ (Linguistic + Interpersonal)
Thinking process: Recognizes and monitors own use of thinking processes.

4. Create questionnaires which are about health information. Every group can create their own questionnaire which could be different than others group. Than every group have to exchange their questionnaire to other groups to get information. The number of questions at the questionnaire can be around 3 or 4 as maximum. After that every group can make the final results as graphic chart. Every group has to have nickname because when the classmates present the results we can realized in which group these belong. Thinking process: Integrates new information with existing knowledge and experience.


5. Do a presentation about the principal results that they got from the activities. Integrated ( Arabic + Science) ¡÷ (Interpersonal)
