•The Prophet's Journey by Night.

•Incursion of Bader.


Questions:

1.Why God choose Prophet Mohamed as last prophet for humankind?

2.How does Islamic religion impact Muslims?

Tasks:

The students will:

•Make a school magazine about Prophet Mohamed's life. It considers as individual search. Each student will write one page at least, and include three paragraphs. The teacher will give list of topics that related to Prophet's life, and the students have to divide and select different topics from others. Students have the chance to design their page and include some picture. The teacher will take students to the library and computer lap for searching information. So, the student will use two resources for their searching which are books and Internet.

Multiple Intelligences: Intrapersonal and linguistic.

Thinking Process:
- Predicts consequences when making decisions.
- Organizes and manages information.
- Integrates new information with exiting knowledge and experience.

•Make models showing the three famous mosques in Islam. These mosques are Aqsa, Kaaba, and prophetic mosques. The students will work as group. Each group has three members at least.

Multiple Intelligences: Interpersonal, bodily-kinesthetic, and logical-mathematical.

Thinking Process:
- Predicts consequences when making decisions.
- Integrates new information with exiting knowledge and experience.
- Combines information in new and unique ways.


•Use this web site: (http://www.aicp.org/IslamicInformation/Arabic/Badr_page_Cover.htm) which about Incursion of Bader. It contains story for Bader. Students have to rewrite that story in their own words. First, they will read the story. Second, they will rewrite the story. Third, they'll use computer to type their final story.

•Write story titled "The Journey of Islam". All students will participate on this task. They have to write this story with dialoged. The teacher divides students in to three groups. The first group will write the introduction with its dialoged. The second group will write about body of the story with its dialoged. The last group will write about the final part for the story with its dialoged.

•Make play about "The Journey of Islam". The students have to decide who will be the actors. They have four classes to finish it. They will present their play at morning assembly.

- Every Wednesday 4 weeks, and 4 classes. The students will take one class for library searching, and one classes for computer lap searching. They will take two classes for writing the gathered information in their own words, and design their magazine page.

October:

- Make mosques models & Rewrite story in web site

- Every Wednesday, 4 weeks, and 4 classes. The students will take two classes to make mosques models, and two classes to rewrite website story.

November:

- Write story titled "The Journey of Islam"

- Every Wednesday 4 weeks, and 4 classes.

December:

- Make play about "The Journey of Islam" and present it in last week of December

- Every Wednesday 4 weeks, and 4 classes.

January:

- exam.

Assessment


There are five tasks. The total grade for all tasks is 100.

Task One (Make a school magazine)

Requirements
1.Have three written paragraphs. (10 marks)
2.Design page and include some picture at least two). (5m)
3.rite short description bellow each picture. (3m)
4.Submit work on time. (2m)

Task Two (Make mosques models)

Requirements
1.Make three famous mosques in Islam (Aqsa, Kaaba, and prophetic mosques). (15m)
2.Organized Models (students name & group's name) (2m)
3.Cleaned Models (not messy). (2m)

Task Three (Write story titled The Journey of Islam)
