Concepts Taught: Writing

The teacher asks the children to make a mindmap about them selves. In the middle they will draw a symbol which shows what they look like. Then draw a line down from the centre and draw one more symbol showing the things that they like to do. Next ask them to draw similar four more symbols. They are not to write anythng only draw symbols which represent what they like. When they are successful in doing this . Make them do similar mind maps in other lessons on comprehension and creative writing. Great way of making the students think in creative ways.
