Materials Required: Internet, a word processor, and desktop publisher
Activity Time: 1 hour, depending on how well you type
Concepts Taught: Searching the internet and creating documents with the applications learned with the information.

You will give them a site or sites relating to the document you want them to do, such as, (flyer), you would have them look up something they can advertise. I have had my students look up maps and locations and type brochures with graphics, or I have them do advertisements for bloomingdales and etc. The students are learning to search the internet and still are getting to use the applications taught pryor to the internet.
