Trout Lifecycle Booklet

• Write a book about a trout, from the start of its life to the end. One page per life stage.

• You must have a front cover and a back page that is to include your references.

• Each stage must:
1. Have a heading
2. Have a picture of what the trout look like at that stage
3. Describe the habitat that the trout lives in. (ex: buried 2 feet deep in a gravel bed upstream at the bottom of a river bed)
4. List the needs of the trout (at least 3) and how they are met. Hint: refer to trout journal.
5. List the threats (at least 2) to the trout during each stage. Hint: refer to "Threats: Land Uses" and "Fish Need Water" packets.

• Booklets are due Wednesday, April 5th -- everyone will have computer lab time (at least 2 class periods) to work on this.

• A floppy disc is required as we will be working on this in the computer lab
