Record Player Art

Materials Needed:
Old record player
Paper
Markers
Paint

Skills: Cause and effect

This center will need some adult supervision. The paper is loaded on the record player and the kids get to hold a marker on the paper as the record player moves. In advance there will be sets of two and three markers taped together that the kids can try also. An expansion of this activity is to try dropping paint drops on the paper as the record paper is moving. This can also lead to some color mixing.
