Webquest: Jobseekers: The Great Job Hunt
Digital Camera/Video Camera
Internet

Development of Lesson
Introduction
Students will complete a webquest that instructs them on how to use community and personal resources to assist in job searching. Students in small groups of 5 or less will create a photo or video documentary about how to find a job.


Methods/Procedures
Students will complete webquest, participate in classroom discussion and project preparations.

Accommodations/Adaptations

This lesson plan requires only that special needs students specifically search for services that suit their individual needs.


Assessment/Evaluation
Students will be evaluated on successful completion of webquest, creativity and active participation in group presentation as well as accuracy of information presented.

Closure
Students will discuss different resources used to help in job searching.

Teacher Reflection
This lesson plan will help to prepare students for transition to the world of work.
