Development of Lesson
Introduction
This is the third lesson in a three part project. Students will have already developed a company, product/service, marketing plan and print ads. Students will now make a 1-2 minute television commercial to advertise their product/service. Students will create the commercial based on their research of their target market and their product/service concept.

Methods/Procedures
Students will use the information gathered and presented in part one and two of their project to develop an idea for television commercial. Students will use a digital camera to film a 1-2 minute commercial for their product. Students will present the finished product to the class. There will be an oral presentation discussing how and why they came up with the commercial they presented.

Accommodations/Adaptations
Working as a group will allow students to help each other and share ideas. Students will present their finished product in class at which point they will share the contributions of the individuals in the group. Working on this project as a group will allow students to contribute collectively and each in their own areas of expertise. There will be periodic submissions of progress due for evaluation by the instructor to ensure that students are on the right track. We will view various television commercials in class and discuss why and how they appeal to various demographics. Commercial content must be appropriate for all viewing audiences (G or PG rating).

Assessment/Evaluation
Students will be evaluated on their ability to work harmoniously as a group. Each student should have an active role in the assignment. Students will be rewarded for creativity and thinking outside of the box. There will be a peer evaluation of the commercial to obtain feedback on how well the intended message was conveyed. Students will be graded on relevance and how well they are able to make a connection between print and television ads.

Closure
Upon completion of this lesson, students will have simulated creating a company and marketing a product/service from start to finish. Students will submit an individual written report detailing their experience and what they learned. This project should help students identify and enhance their individual skills and learn to effectively work as a part of a team.
