#4194. End of year song (piggybacks on She'll Be Comin Round the Mt

other, level: all
Posted Sat May 24 11:46:05 PDT 2008 by Nancy on Teachers.Net First Grade Mailring (Nancy on Teachers.Net First Grade Mailring).

There is a song that my kids love at the end of the year. We sing it as we go out the door on the last day. (It's very simple and short, so I'm sure
that you would need something else to go with it.) I believe that I actually got it from this mailring earlier. It is to the tune of "She'll Be Comin'
Round the Mountain".

Oh, we're off to second grade, yes we are!
Oh, we're off to second grade, yes we are!
Oh, we're off to second grade,
We're off to second grade,
Oh, we're off to second grade, yes we are!

And we won't be here in first grade any more.
Oh, we won't be here in first grade any more.
Oh, we won't be here in first grade,
We won't be here in first grade,
Oh, we won't be here in first grade any more.

(You can substitute any grade you need.) Hope this helps!
