Here's the Reading Guide:
Before Reading - Ask students to expound on this biblical quote:
"There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known." Luke 12:2

During Reading - Stop & Text - As students are reading, have them stop and compose a text message (no more than 140 characters, including spaces) that one character might send to someone as the story unfolds. For example, after paragraph 23, Katherina might send the following message to a friend:
From: Katherina To: BFF (Best Friend Forever)
Barely snuck into class! Hope Jamian is worth it! Hope he doesn't see this big zit on my face. Crossing my fingers! LOL!

After Reading - • Quick-Summary - Now that students have gotten into the habit of being concise, have them summarize the story in 100 words or less. They must include information from the beginning, middle, and end of the story in order to make a complete summary.
• Ask the Author - Students create a list of questions they would like to ask the author. For answers to some of the most frequently asked questions, read the Author's FAQs
