Aim: Mood/tone of music

Procedure:

1. Read My Many Colored Days by Dr. Seuss
2. With construction paper-write down a feeling for each color paper
3. "Shoo Fly, Don't Bother Me" song
4. How music makes me feel: draw how you feel when you hear the music ("Moonlight Sonata" by Beethoven and "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" by Mozart)
5. Share with class
6. "If You're Happy and You Know It"
7. "Feelings" by Hap Palmer
