Materials Required: a collection of the four seasons (spring,summer, autumn, winter) pictures
Activity Time: 10-20 minutes
Concepts Taught: speaking and writing skills

GOALS:
Basic literacy in both Arabic & English

BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE:
1-young learners at preschool level
2-Bilingual ( English & Arabic) classroom setting

PROCEDURE:
1-Divide the class into pairs
2-Each pair gets 4 pictures
3-Each child works on 2 pictures
4-Each child copies in the blanks, the words on the blackboard
5- they copy the English words under both pictures on the left side, the Arabic words on the right side.
6- Repeat after the teacher, how to pronounce these words in both languages.
7- practice with their partner,the 8 new words for the four pictures they have.
