Materials Required: art materialls and writing materials
Activity Time: half hour/ 45 minutes
Concepts Taught: fine motor skill, language, penmanship
Each child gets an oak tag with a pattern of Corduroy on it.
They have to cut around the lines and then decorate the bear. Then they give him overalls and decorate them as well. The i give each child a small rectangular paper that says
My name is__________________________
I belong to__________________________
On the top line they write their bear's name. On the bottom line they write their names. I hang them on a bulletin board thst says "Bear On Parade"
