Make a Farm
Owl & Mouse Educational Software, Bellevue, WA
Materials Required: Paper, scissors, tape or glue, markers or crayons
Activity Time: 1 hour +
Concepts Taught: Farming; where we get our food; interdependence of plants and animals

Download the software and print out the buildings, etc. Have the students color and cut out their buildings (barn, silo, chicken coop, etc.) Arrange buildings, make roads, decide on fields and crops, etc. Print out paper animals and place in appropriate places on farm. (More material about farm lesson activities is given with the patterns for the buildings.)
