Concepts Taught: Shapes

Tune: Here We go Round the Mulberry Bush
Use pointer fingers to make the shapes in the air while singing.
Square: This is the way we make a square, make a square, make a square. This is the way we make a square so early in the morning.
2nd verse: A square has four sides, four sides, four sides. A square has four sides so early in the morning.
3rd verse: All four sides are the same, are the same, are the same. All four sides are the same so early in the morning.
Circle: This is the way we make a circle, etc.
2nd verse: A circle goes around like a ball, etc.
Triangle: This is the way we make a triangle, etc.
2nd verse: A triangle has three sides, etc.
Rectangle: This is the way we make a rectangle, etc.
2nd verse: A rectangle has four sides, etc.
3rd verse: Two sides are long and two sides are short, etc.
