Concepts Taught: Culture through holidays

For ancient history teachers, May Day provides an opportunity to compare all ancient cultures studied to date. Briefly discuss this holiday with the kids, ask how they think each ancient culture might have celebrated May Day and why. It's timely review, and using a holiday makes it fun.
