Directions:
~Fill a small plastic pool (one that a small child would use in the summer time in the back yard) with about 9 bags of poting soil. (Have this ready before children enter the room) Put kids in small groups and asighn each group a DIFFERENT type of seed (vegtable seeds work best) to plant. Have students watch over their seeds for about three weeks and water often. (Make sure to have pool of seeds by a window or lamp for light.)When the seeds start to grow in, allow children to cut their plants (if vegtables let them eat...try to have things like letuce, and things to make a salad and provide dresing.) and if they are flowers let them take some home.
