#838. Who am I? Greek Gods, Heros, and Creatures

Literature, level: all
Posted Thu Feb 4 17:52:39 PST 1999 by Rick Cohoon (rcohoon@net66.com).
Lovington High School, Lovington, IL
Materials Required: Post-it notes
Activity Time: Varies depending on how many times you do it.
Concepts Taught: Recognition of Greek Characters

After discussing the Greek gods, goddesses, characters, heroes, etc. that you want your students to know, make post-it notes with a character on each and put one note on the back of each student so he/she cannot see it. The student then must go around to classmates and ask questions to find out who he/she is. For example: "Am I a god or goddess?" "Do I have special powers?" "Am I a mortal?"
