Hello! I'm not even sure how I stumbled on 4 Blocks but
I've been reading up on it and am curious how this is
different from the "balanced literacy" we do at our
school. Our district uses guided reading (Fountas &
Pinnell) but I'm not too thrilled with the results I'm
getting. I just started reading "Guided Reading the Four-
Blocks Way" so I'm sure a lot of information from this but
what are the "best practices" to getting started? My class
this year is very low in reading and with our state test
being renormed and more difficult, I need all the help I
can get. Thank you!
