Hi,
I'm thinking of running an after-school reading enrichment
program and I'm wondering if I could adapt the the 4 Blocks
method to plan the curriculum. I would probably have 45
minutes once a week with a small group of students. I
thought maybe for the self-selected reading block I could
bring them a selection of books they could borrow and read
at home. The little bit of time I would have would be
divided into about 15 minutes for Working With Words and 25
minutes for Guided Reading. I don't know when I could do
writing.
Does anyone have experience with something like this?
