I've found these two sites to be extremely helpful too!
The Northern Nevada Writing Project website is chocked full
of neat six trait writing lessons (using picture books),
rubrics, sample papers to rate using 6 traits, and materials

I also discovered the Teaching That Makes Sense website last
year and plan to use a lot of its materials this year. There
are .pdf documents filled with writing strategies/ideas using
the 6 traits that you can view online and download for free.
I really like the neat posters that you can print out to
introduce the traits. A lot of the material is broken down
within the documents for beginning writers and more mature
writers. http://www.ttms.org/
