    In our high school in Germany...we just hired a young man...also 24, and
    it is his first teaching position!

    He was a dodds student and that seemed to play into the choice...no worry
    about culture shock (military or overseas wise). THis is someone who
    lived the system before. I know my superiors are very prone to hiring
    veterans. Again, they know they understand the military culture, have no
    problem with moving around, and understand chain of command. A veteran
    or former dodds student has much more chance than a someone never
    associated with dodds.
