Have any of you been faced with that dilemma????? What if you have to decline, how bad will that be for possible future job consideration?

niknak Just a question, are you a new hire in that district or have you been working there for some time? I didn't experience any issues, but then again I opted for a personal leave of absence rather that a total resignation. Where I work you can take a 1 year leave and extend it for a second year. Afterwards I can either return to the district or resign....See More

samantha My district threatened my license, but I had to give them at least 30 days..after 30 days they couldn't say yes or no...I was able to resign-it was my 1st year at that district.

Insight Update for all you... I am now able to be released from my position once a replacement is found.... I am in the same boat as many of you as I am waiting on background check to be completed. I am just glad the school understands and is patiently waiting with me. However do you find yourself getting nervous?????

niknak Glad to hear things worked out for you. Welcome to the waiting game. I literally got my orders about an hour ago. I think HQ finally got sick of me. As far as being nervous....oh yes indeed! Nervous, anxious, excited, frustrated, you name it I've felt it.
