Aside from Misawa, are there any other hardship duty stations in Japan?

haha Hardship just means that they generally offer yearly
travel benefits and offer higher position in the transfer
round. It doesn't necessarily mean that the location is
actually a hardship or a dangerous and/or unpleasant place
to live or teach.

Yokosuka for example is a nice size base with good
facilities, good sized schools...See More

H So if Imwork in Yokosuka or Misawa then I can return home every summer? Is this only after the two year probation?

Teach Misawa for sure. I believe you get it immediately.

haha My understanding is that if it is a one year location you get it after the first year (and sign a new travel agreement).
