I have a summer trip planned for July. Thinking it's a good idea to cancel to save money. Supposed to go to LA for a week and Tokyo for 2 weeks. Has anyone ever canceled flights before? Were you able to receive credit for non-refundable flight tickets.
Spound28 It really depends on the airline and type of ticket purchased as far as class. United told me no once I waited a day called back and got a different costumer service rep who refunded my tickets for United credit

angel Hmmm... my flights are with United. Thank you. I'll do the same if at first I receive a no. Hotel alone I would save about $2,200. If I receive credit for the flights, I can put that towards the PCS flight and then receive reimbursement right?

Spound28 I am not sure about the PCS flight reimbursement

angel Hopefully it's possible. I know regularly purchased ones can based on what I've read (I think). If not I'll save the credit for another trip.
