Post: Huck Finn Controversial?
Posted by Athena on 7/17/08
I've been trying to compile literature for my fifth
graders this year (I'm relatively new to gifted) and came
across Huck Finn. I'm in the midst of rereading it
(haven't read it since middle school) and wondered whether
the racial references would be innapropriate or offensive.
Please advise me on your opinion.
Thanks
