I had my fifth and later sixth graders read Twain's Huck Fynn, Tom Sawyer, Prince And the Pauper, Kipling's Jungle Book, kim, Courages Companions, A A Milne's Winnie The Pooh Poetry, Shel Silverstein's Poetry,Eugene Field's "See in Things At Night", James Whitcome Rilry's "Little Orphant Annie". I have hundreds of poetry on cassette read by Vincent Price, Helen Hayes, Agnes Moorehead and Alexander Scourby. I have Agnes Morehead reading "If Nancy Hanks came Back As a Ghost". If you want some free cassettes just ask.
