My dd read Diary of Anne Frank last year at age 6 and really
enjoyed it. She has been interested in the Holocaust since age 4.
She doesn't enjoy books that are "developmentally appropriate"
for 2nd graders now at age 7, but she did like to read them when
she was 2-3 years old. All children develop at different rates.
I don't think that you would read The Diary
