Post: Help with gifted but obstinate child

    Posted by Debbie on 8/20/08

HI all! School has started and I have one little guy who
is definetly gifted but impulsive and just says
inappropriate things: I hate school, I'm evil, I like to
put dead fish in my sister's bed, etc. Last year's teacher
had told me that he seemed to be street wise beyond his
years. He is the oldest and him mom works in our cafeteria
and is very open to doing whatever it takes. I just need
some suggestions as to how to help him. After two days,
the other kids are already getting annoyed with him and
    his comments. Thanks! Debbie
