    Re: Trial Placement

    We have in North Carolina what I think is pretty much a
    trial method. After a student is tested and doesn't qualify,
    we can offer them Advanced Learner status if they meet the
    requirements (ability score at seventy percent or higher,
    motivated, creative, has good leadership, reads one to two
    levels above grade level in reading and or math). These
    students are ones who we think have potential to someday be
    identfied. I do pullouts as well. Feel free to email me
