FYI no where in any of the scoring does it say you must achieve a 1.75 on each component. If I am wrong, can someone give me the page number? :)

What it does state is you must:

-Reach the "Total Weighted Score" (whatever that ends up being) -Assessment Center Unweighted Avg over 1.75 (4 Component 1 scores) -Portfolio Section Unweighted Avg ovg 1.75 (Component 2,3,4)

Which means you could score a 1.0, 3.0, 2.0 on portfolios and be over the 1.75 average threshold. Of course you may not meet the total weighted score, but the 1.0 does not disqualify you.

bmf8140 Does anyone else think it is kind of frustrating that we don't know what goal we are reaching for? Why is there not a minimum weighted score set yet? For people who have certified in the past, what was the total weighted average for them?

I got my scores for Comp 1 and 2 and they are both over the 1.75 minimum. I assume I'm on the right t...See More

chaz It definitely is frustrating that it took 6 months to
score my comp 1 test and that the score i received (2.457)
isn't quantified better. I don't know what the average
score is, my percentile rank..........nothing.
Furthermore, I don't know if I should bail on the whole
process or keep going. GGGRRRR

Surely there must be a ...See More

Jessica The 1.75 is the lowest you can get on a single component to pass it. There is no official cut score until late 2017 for the overall score. If you got a 1.75 I imagine it'll be hard to pass your National Boards. It is most definitely not a 1.75 overall score to pass. Hope that helps.

Biophysteach There is no passing score for an individual component. Only for the average of component 1 parts and the average of components 2-4.

There will ALSO be a weighted average score you must pass (score not known yet).
