If I teach in a self contained 3rd Grade but see students for reading groups can one of those groups be one that I choose to focus on for C4? I am confused about the wording for the group profiling. It says: if you teach a whole class you must feature you entire class. If you work with a number of students who share similar characteristics but you work with them separately these students constitute your group. Therefore one of my three reading groups I could focus on?
Emily That's a good question. I hadn't thought about it that way. I assumed if you were self contained you had to reflect on all groups?

What Works So to clarify, you have a self-contained, "homeroom" class, but you're "departmentalized" or switch groups for reading...is that what you mean? You teach multiple reading/LA groups? if that's the case, I believe you could use one of those classes as your Profile Group. if what I've paraphrased isn't accurate, come again for clar...See More
