Distance Teaching Post: Using Credits After Certifying Posted by Cathy on 7/02/08 Has anyone used the ACE college credits available at the NBPTS website? It says NBCTS are eligible for 9 credits at a cost of $100. Although ACE issues a "transcript," it isn't an "Institution of Higher Learning." I am interested in using the credits for a pay differential in my school district ( Master's + 30 credits), but I'm wondering if it will be accepted. I hesitate to call our human resouces to ask because our union is in a huge pay dispute with the administration and I think if I question whether they'll accept it, they will question if they really have to. I'd be willing to risk the $100 if I knew others have used it successfully. Thanks for any feedback.
