    You see, that's the problem-- too many requirements. All this
    nonsense is because some adult is worried about some SILLY points.
    Use AR for for it's worth- an electronic measure/record of BASIC
    reading comprehension. AR is a good electronic reading log. It, if
    used correctly, takes work of recording keeping off the teacher. In
    a NORMAL, RATIONAL, REASONABLE system, you can easily see what
    books a student has read and their comprehension of the book.

    It was only after fools (people who wanted to showboat anyway)
    started using "AR points" as status symbols did we start having
    these problems.
