Mark, sounds like your AR person doesn't know how to run the
program. All students should be moved to the next grade level
every summer. This way a complete and continuous record of all
books read by each student through their entire school career. I
can research all books read by our students from 4-8. No retakes
on tests if record keeping is properly done. Sounds like your
school needs training???
