They only retake a test if they took a test on the wrong book
accidentally, or if another student took the test FOR them and
they reported it. (I DID have a student take a test for 5 others
without their permission, and they were honest enough to tell me-
although I already knew!) I will never delete a test if a child
rushed through the book, took if without permission, or didn't
finish the book. By 5th grade, they should know when they are
ready. They learn a life lesson. Choose wisely:in life, there
are no make-up exams. If they fail- oh well- they read another
great book and get to take another test. Reading is its own
reward.
