Re: University of Phoenix - Warrenville, Illinois Campus
Posted by Dave on 3/29/08

1st. I transferred from another college to complete my IT degree at UOP
Warrenville, Illinois. UOP said that all my credits would be
    transferable. 1st lie!

2nd While I was attending my 2nd class after enrollment, I found out
that UOP terminated this course degree. They didn't even tell me.

I explained I will be transferring out to another school and they said I
would have tp pay the 1st 3 classes myself. My loans would be sent back.
    $3000

This school is deceiving in practices.

All they care about is getting you enrolled and making the bottom line.
Their education curriculum is poor. It’s a fly by night degree with a
    pricey cost!!!!!!!!!!!

They have some outstanding instructors, however they problem lies with
    the education you receive.

3rd. They were unable to have ground classes and some were forced into a
leave of absence until classes were running again.
Their excuse for this was they didn’t have enough students enrolled so
they weren’t having a class. This class was crucial for the degree they
offered. Help me understand that one.
They insisted I take the online class to make up for it. The online
    class was more expensive!!!

My opinion, go to a notable college. You can receive better financial
aid instead of being forced to take out school loans.

I am seeking legal council now for deceptive practices.

By the way, I am not the only one who shares this opinion and yes my
friends and I are looking at a real education from a good college.
