Re: University of Phoenix

I am a current student at UOP about to complete my IT degree. I see nothing wrong with the education given by UOP. You will find many out there who do not accept a concept just because they do not understand it (they have never used it) or those who just want a free ride. This later pertains to many of the students who are unable to work on their own to get tasks completed. You see, in order to successful complete a degree program with UOP, one must be mature enough to work on his/her own, which may include conducting heavy research to get assignment completed to standard. Most students are unable to deal with that, as they would prefer to have an instructor available in a traditionally class room to immediately answer all questions. I really do not blame those who cannot deal with the online concept. It is not for everyone, and I hope they find other means that will suit their education needs.
