It's against the sudents who want to learn but have to deal with inept teachers, inept public education. Schools should be run by private companies First of all, teaching certification needs to be elimated. bill Gates cannot teach business but some anti capitalism Liberal who is certified can? what a joke! The next problem is tenure of any kind for teachers. Many public school teachers should be fired. I was a substitute teacher at the Austin Independent SChool District and saw how inept the Austin Board of ed is and how inept some of the teachers are and how students do whatever they please 22 year old students in classes with 13 year olds. what a joke. There is no respect for authority. But the leftist NEA just wants to Blame Bush. I laugh when I see the Bumperstickers that say "No child left a dime" The truth is that no matter how much money many public schools had. it would never be enough. The teachers Union would complain. yeah , Bush is the problem. Yeah, this problem only happened 7 years ago? What turnip truck do you think I fell out of?
