    Post: CRB

    Posted by Lydi on 6/25/08

I have just completed my ITT (secondary MFL PGCE) but
happen to have been convicted of a theft offence this
year. I believe that this conviction will hinder me from
    teaching in secondary schools.
Is a CRB check required to teach adults?
I know that teaching adults require different methods than
teaching children but I feel capable to do so. I would
like to either teach French to English speakers or
speakers of other languages OR teach English as a foreign
    language.
Would I necessary need another qualification?
