Hi, I was wondering if anyone on here teaches at a
correctional facility. I had once applied for a position
and the person I spoke to over the phone told me that it is
a good job because there are low student teacher ratios,
the students want to be there, and can easily be removed by
behavior, and that I didn't have to worry about parents
telling me how to do my job. I decided at that time to
accept another position in elementary and am now rethinking
my choice. Has anyone taught adults in this type of
setting? I'm having a hard time locating information about
what its actually like. Thanks!
