Not the format it's the media. NO CD-RW!, cheap medai
(gold or silver works well). Somtimes it's the
record/playback speed. Use less than 12x The age
of the device is often a factor in the last two problems. . .
older players can't handle high speeds and cheap media.
The .wav format should be fine... some older players liked
something called .CDA while some of the newer ones will
even play .mp3 files.
Without a bit more information that's about all I can offer
in the way of advice.
