We have upgraded our emacs to Leopard and added 1 GB of RAM in our school network (mac mini running Leopard). I would like to set up a student list so that students can log in and save their documents on the server. The log in list appears okay but when I click on a student name and try to log in I get a message: 'Type an administrator name and password to allow lpadmin to make changes. There are two blanks

that come up but I am not able

type in them. I tried restarting with the same result. Any suggestions from someone who has a similar set up?

Neal b>Normally the list would be a group in/on OSX server. Either machines or students. If machines they would have different applications the students could use only on those machines that are different from their "normal" set.

You might also use your Public folder for their work in progress and your drop box for finished files. In your p...See More
