To be honest, I would save your money. Use common sense when
working with files on the outside and you should be ok. I have
a MBP and have not had anything even remotely resembling a
virus or Trojan try to attack. On my Vista box I use Windows
Live One Care, and it is always kicking in to do its thing.
Another thing, my daughters have been using their Intel iMac
for going on 2 years and they have never been infected. If
anyone could do it it would be some 13, 16, 18 year-olds. The
worse that ever happens is when they run certain games it
tends to create some sluggishness.
I have heard such wicked stories about Norton and what it
tends to do with various systems.
