We found a lot of large bottles of Crayola tempera paint in storage. It looks ok, thinner than I would like though. Tried shaking the bottles, but made no difference. Is this normal, or has the paint somehow gone bad after being in storage?
Art teacher Mindy, It is probably old if it seems watery. Try it out on some paper to see how it paints and dries. If it looks good then use it up. I find that if it is too thin then it looks more like watercolor and sometimes the paper shows through.
