	Re: Art Teacher Organizations! Posted by mary v on 4/08/08 Most states have their own organization- in Minnesota it is Art Educators of MN (AEM) and they have an annual meeting and conference. I am also in a professional group called a QTN (quality teachers network)through our arts highschool in the metro area- we meet 3x a year and discuss/develop standards and work out high poverty issues. I would think your best bet would be to ask at the college you attended or are near now if there are any professional art orginizations around- neithre of mine are unions, they are just professional development and networking organizations.
