    Have the students make a drape mold out of newspaper. Bunch up a lot of paper,
    and then turn the paper inward to create a dome. Cover the dome with dry
    cleaning bags and tape them off. Drape slabs of clay over the dome and trim the
    clay to the desirable shape. Save the molds in one large dry cleaning bag for
    following years. I showed the kids how to draw a face in proportion first so that
    they knew where to place the eyes.
