    So oil pastels instead of crayons? Or oil pastels instead of tempera or ink?
    I did scratchboard recently and had a terrible time with the crayons scratching off
    completely- so they didn't have the vibrant colors they started with. What about the
    boards? Poster board? Mat board? Tag board? Is one better than the other?
